Call of the Wild with KOA Grand Tour RulesCheckpoints are accessible by motorcycle and must be ridden to on your motorcycle.A person may only enter ONE TIME. The entry fees are based on the driver of the motorcycle. If the passenger of the 2-up entry is a Non-AMA member and the driver is an AMA member, the entry will be the AMA price. If the driver is not an AMA member, the entry fee will be the Non-AMA price, no matter if the passenger is an AMA member or not. The Call of the Wild with KOA Grand Tour will run from April 1st, 2010 until November 30th, 2010. Upon receiving Entry Form and Fee, the Midnight Riders will send you a Call of the Wild with KOA Grand Tour Identification # Sign and tabulation sheet. One of the following “WILD NAMES” MUST be part of the name of a city, town, or county. KOA campgrounds that you visit DO NOT need to have a “wild name” in their names: HEN, ANT, DEER (can be spelled DEAR), ELK, DOG, CAT, BIRD, EAGLE, BEAR, or an insect or animal name NOT LISTED, or any KOA campground (i.e. Henry county, Pleasant Creek, Deer Creek, Elkhart, Dogwood, Decatur County, Blue Bird, Eagle Creek, Bear Mountain, or any KOA campground) You must submit 30 pictures (ANY COMBINATION) of cities, towns, counties, or KOA campgrounds to complete the Call of the Wild with KOA Grand Tour. (Only 30 pictures will be accepted) Any sign with the Town, City, County, or KOA campground name will be accepted. Names may be used more than once. (I.e. Henry County IN, Henry County AL) It is recommended that you show verification that a name used more than once is a different city, town, county, or KOA campground. (I.e. use post office sign or individual name of the KOA campground in them) You MUST submit a photo of each checkpoint, hard copy or on a CD. Your motorcycle and the Call of the Wild with KOA Grand Tour Identification # Sign MUST appear in the photo. (If you cannot get your motorcycle close enough to the city, town, county, or KOA campground signs SAFELY, then the Call of the Wild with KOA Grand Tour Identification # Sign must appear in the photo of the city, town, county, or KOA campground sign. Your Motorcycle MUST appear in at least 25 of the 30 photos. Photos MUST have the name of the city, town, county, or KOA campground in the picture. Please identify each photo on the back, include State name please. Photos and tabulation sheets must be sent to the Midnight Riders and postmarked NO LATER than December 5th, 2010. We suggest you to send them registered mail for your benefit. You may plan your own route and visit the checkpoints in any order you choose, Take your time and enjoy the ride. A drawing of playing cards (Ace,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,Jack) will be drawn on December 15th, 2010. Ace will be worth 1 point and Jack will be worth 11 points. The cards as drawn will be assigned to the Call of the Wild with KOA Grand Tour names listed above, in the order they are listed, Plus, you will receive one extra point for each KOA campground you visit (KOA’s are part of the 30 pictures). After each name has a point value, your pictures will be assigned these points, and the top points will be the winner. In the event of a tie, names with the Jack assigned to them will determine how the tie is broken, highest number of Jacks is the winner, if there is still a tie, then the highest number of KOA’s visited will break the tie. The Winner will receive a prize to be named later along with ALL Completions being put into a drawing that AMA will draw awards from for the Grand Tours with KOA Along the Way Series. A list of all entries and their scores will be posted on our web site on or before December 31st, 2010.
