GRAND TOUR of MUSEUMS Rules
Checkpoints are accessible by motorcycle and must be ridden to on your
motorcycle.
A person may only enter ONE TIME. The entry fees are based on the driver
of the motorcycle. If the passenger of the 2-up entry is a Non-AMA member and
the driver is an AMA member, the entry will be the AMA price. If the driver is
not an AMA member, the entry fee will be the Non-AMA price, no matter if the
passenger is an AMA member or not.
If a person is a passenger one time, but a driver another time, that
person MUST have his or her own entry separate from the driver that
he/she was a passenger with.
Upon receiving Entry Form and Fee, the Midnight Riders will
send you a Grand Tour of MUSEUMS Identification # Sign and tabulation
sheet.
Points will be awarded for the following types of Museums:

points for Motorcycle, Military, or
Aviation Museums.
2
points for Transportation type Museums
(Rail Road, Auto, Truck)
1
point for any other Museum not named
above.
To
COMPLETE you must accumulate 25 points.
You
MUST submit a photo of each
checkpoint (Prints or Digital). Your motorcycle and the GRAND
TOUR of MUSEUMS Identification # Sign MUST
appear in the photo. (If you cannot get your motorcycle close enough to the
Museum sign SAFELY, then the Grand Tour Identification #
Sign must appear in the photo of the Museum sign. Your Motorcycle
MUST appear in at least 90% of the
photos. Photos MUST have the name of the Museum in the picture.
Please
identify each photo and type of Museum please.
A drawing of all
entries accumulating 25 points or more will be conducted by the Midnight
Riders on the 15th of December. The winner will
receive a new set of tires from Dunlop for their motorcycle. (Winner
will pay for shipping)(ONLY ONE ENTRY PER ENTRANT)
Photos
and tabulation sheets must be sent to the Midnight Riders and postmarked NO
LATER than November 30th, 2008.
A
list of all entries and the winner will be posted on our web site on or before
December 30th, 2008. If

Upon
completion, one entry to the Cycle Trader AMA Grand Tours Series with KOA
Along the Way drawing will be given for each completed entry. If the entrant
accumulates 50 points, then two entries will be submitted.
Entrants
that enter two or more of the Cycle Trader AMA Grand Tours will be allowed to
compete for Top Points. Maximum Grand Tours allowed for Top Points is 4,
entrants into 5 or more Grand Tours will have only the scores from the highest
four tours counted.
You
may plan your own route and visit the checkpoints in any order, take your time
and enjoy the tour.
